Noto Sans Bengali is the monolinear companion: built for interfaces, wayfinding and small-size rendering where contrast is a liability rather than an asset.

The sans was drawn against the serif so that a product can move between the two without re-tuning its layout. Vertical metrics, x-height equivalence and matra thickness are coordinated, which means a heading can switch script or style without the block shifting.
Bold and Black are the display end of the family and are spaced accordingly — tighter, with the counters opened up to stop them filling in. At Light and Regular the spacing widens again for continuous reading.
