TT Noort
TT Noort is a low-contrast serif for long-form reading, drawn with sturdy bracketed serifs and a large x-height that keeps text lines even under difficult printing conditions. The Book weight is the heart of the family; the heavier cuts exist to carry headlines in the same voice.

Noort was made for continuous text: newspapers, reports, anything where the reader stays on the page for more than a paragraph. The contrast is deliberately shallow so that ink spread and low-resolution rendering cannot flatten the thins, and the serifs are cut short and blunt to hold the baseline.
The design later grew a Bengali companion, which forced a re-examination of the Latin: vertical proportions were adjusted so that both scripts could sit on a shared baseline grid without one shouting over the other. The result is a family that reads quietly in either script.
